Details

This faux septum ring is handmade from coiled wire with a tiny bead at the center. It is adjustable and pinches onto the septum from the outside, so it sits naturally in place and looks like a real hoop from the front.

It is nickel free and tarnish resistant.

Size

  • Inner diameter: 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm
  • Wire: 18 gauge, sturdy enough to hold its shape and slim enough to look delicate

The model is wearing 8 mm. If you are not sure, 8 mm works for most people. Go up a size if you prefer a slightly more visible hoop.

Gold filled is not the same as plating. The gold layer is thick and bonded to the base, so it won’t flake or fade with normal wear.

How to wear

No piercing is needed. Pinch the ring gently onto your septum from the outside and it stays in place.

    I’m really happy with this ring. It came by registered mail with a tracking link, which I liked.

    It reminds me of a septum ring I used to have (that one had a slightly bigger ball), but I chose gold this time instead of silver. Since my old one is no longer sold, I was glad to find this similar one on Etsy.

    It was hard to find a faux septum ring smaller than 10mm, which is too big for me. I chose 7mm and it fits perfectly.

    Shipping was quick enough and everything went smoothly. The twisted detail goes a bit further around the ring than in the photos. I would have liked a slightly bigger ball, but I’m very happy with it overall.

    Very happy with my new septum ring. Thank you! I’ve really missed having one and feel complete again 😆
